Now Entering the 3rd Dimension

”Isn’t my TV already in 3-d?”

That was the question from a very perplexed 11-year-old snowboarder on Toggenberg Mountain this weekend.

I was there testing out some new — and dare I say awesome — technology allowing us to easily shoot in 3-D for television and the web.

The footage is being put together soon. All I can say is that it’s strange to shoot in 3-d; the way you have to “see” a shot and plan everything thing out changes…after all there’s a whole other dimension to now take into consideration.

I’ll post it here soon — but you’ll need a pair of the very fashionable 3-d glasses to watch — otherwise it will just look like what I see when I don’t wear my contacts.
